Swiss Military only use Swiss made quartz movements from the leading producers ETA, ISA and RONDA. The mechanical watches are fitted exclusively with ETA or Valjoux movements. The cases are all very robust and made from stainless steel. (With the exceptional models of titanium) The gilt parts are plated with 5 microns. Most of the cases are fitted with a screw back assuring perfect water resistance, and all mechanical watches feature a see through case back. The dials feature safe Superluminova numbers or dots and so can be read easily in the dark. The steel bracelets are fitted with security clasps and easily shortened. All the bracelets are made from stainless steel. The leather bands are made from refined, high quality leather, carefully crafted and specially treated, so that they can also be worn safely in the water. Some of our watches have screwed crowns, for even better water protection. If you are wearing one of these watches make sure that the crown is screwed back properly after setting the time or the date.All Swiss Military watches are waterproof (water-resistant) to at least 5 ATM (50 metres) or more, very robust and fitted with a special scratch-resistant mineral glass or a scratch-proof sapphire glass. A flash of color against clean steel makes the Swiss Military Hanowa Men's Sealander 316L Stainless Steel White Dial Watch quite the eye-grabbing timepiece. Sturdy stainless steel makes up the large case, featuring a bright red bezel marked with thick white lines and Arabic numerals at fifteen minute intervals. The polished silver dial hosts thick black-lined hour and minute hands ticking amidst three subdials. A large button on the right side of the case works the stopwatch feature shown in the subdial near the two o'clock hour. Pale green lines sit just below blocky black Arabic numbers at each hour mark, while the red and gray Swiss Military cross appears for the 12 o'clock. A small calendar display near the four o'clock hour gives the date. The green inside both hands and the lines gives a soft glow in the dark, allowing you to tell the time regardless of where you and your watch are. The band consists of tightly linked steel pieces for a close fit and smooth feel, closing with a fold-over push-button clasp.
