Victorinox Swiss Army's Men's Infantry Vinatage watch #241309 Review
I almost missed this watch while shopping, in that it had a brown strap, which is a non-starter. Then I thought the face was a grey-black. Yet it still was attractive: The dial-to-case ratio is very efficient in that the matte finished case extends a mere 4mm beyond the cyrystal, which measures 31mm across. So, the case measures 39mm, not counting the stem knob. As a result, the watch appears to the eye as all face with no clunky metal surround. Maybe that's why its called a vintage infantry watch. I'm Navy, but love the color, anyway. Did I mention that the stainless steel case is matte finished, not shiny? In all, the minimalist matte finished case, the olive drab face, bold numbers and scratch proof crystal make this an unusual and attractive time piece. Works too...
